I am a mother of three young children (with one on the way), two dogs, one horse and a cat. I am a certified Baby-Led Sleep and Well-Being Specialist, a Registered Yoga Instructor (RYT), a babywearing specialist and a certified Postpartum Doula (RDO). My previous experience includes working in-home with families while they navigate the first year of parenthood, volunteering in crisis intervention with Victim Services and a career as a legal assistant. In those roles, I learned both compassion and professionalism. My focus is on well-baby care and education and on providing emotional support and guidance to new parents as they find their way through their transition into parenthood. I give my clients evidence-based information and resources as well as practical tools to help them cope with the ups and downs of new parenthood. I place great emphasis on the mental health and well-being of all members of the family and provide guidance towards maintaining realistic expectation of ourselves and baby. The philosophy of my practice is that each baby, birth and family are unique. I want to help you find the courage and confidence to tune into what your family needs and support you as you make safe and healthy choices that work for your family.
