Dr. Tennant is a mother of two with a PhD in Neuroscience. Since the birth of her first child in 2017, she has focused on sleep and well-being, making it her mission to inform parents about normal child development and sleep. “I couldn’t believe the amount of misinformation parents are given. This leads to so much frustration and unnecessary stress at such a vulnerable time. Gaining a deeper understanding of the science behind sleep and child development lead me to becoming a Sleep and Well-Being Specialist.”
She understands that sleep isn’t simple—as children develop, their sleep process and needs change. There’s not a one-size-fits all approach to improving sleep; Dr. Tennant works to improve sleep by finding what works best for each individual family. This empowers parents and allows them to trust their instincts.
As a neuroscientist and sleep specialist, she offers a unique perspective into child development and the many factors that affect sleep. She uses scientific and medical sources to bring you information you can use and trust.
“Sleep is a biological function, not something that can be taught. I can help you put the right foundations in place so that you and your baby will sleep the way nature intended.””
